Progress

Yayyyy!!!!!
I finally knit something. I knit a dishcloth from the Grandma's Favorite Dishcloth Pattern. I found this great cotton yarn called Peaches & Creme, the color is fiesta...

I started another one in the same pattern last night before bed but the color is Sherbert, same brand as before.

I started this dishcloth two days ago and it is the Vignes or Vineyard pattern. I am knitting it in this red pattern because it will go with my mother-in-law's kitchen.

Anyways I am soooo happy that I have been knitting again the stress is down to a minimum and I didn't realize how much I missed it.

Well I am excited I have finally got a job!!!! I am however not excited about what I will be doing. I am going to be cleaning peoples houses and some office spaces. I am just happy that I will be making some money and then Greg and I can get a house. I will keep looking for the dream job but for now this is good enough.

So today I volunteered down and Greg's work and I helped sort of hundreds of jerseys and categorized size and color. We were working up in the storage area and it was really hot up there.

I had to get the kids ready this morning at 8:30am to go to their other grandmother's house. I do not like that woman, she is so false, and I just hate the way the kids are when they get home from her house, if they were my kids I don't know if I would be letting her see them anymore, because there mother (her daughter) isn't supposed to be seeing the kids and I get the feeling that she is there secretly when the kids go there. Those kids went through a lot of terrible things when she had custody of them.

Anyways I am going to start working on this hat pattern I found online, and I am going to knit up some dishcloths. I went to the farmer's market and there was a woman there selling just knitted dishcloths and I was like if she can do maybe I can to, so I am going to look into doing farmers market or something along those lines, because she does a lot of business there and I wouldn't want to compete. I know that isn't very business like of me but I feel that they already have enough so I would like to either help or do something similar.

Anyhoo I will type some more later.

Well I went down to work with the hubs and we stocked the concessions fridge, and he taught me how to work the concessions computer, and now I can volunteer and work at the concessions.

I have been craving to play our Sims 2 game that we have had for a while, but we took it off our computer during the school year so that the computer would run faster. Anyways I have been wanting to play it for a while so I put the CD in to install it and then it wanted the code, of course the code is on the back of the CD case, which is packed up somewhere in the trailer. So after a couple of days going through the boxes I finally find it, then I go to put the code in and it isn't on the back of the case it is on the back of the game manual. AHHHHH, but of course it isn't in the case like it is supposed to be, so I go looking for that but no luck. So I had to look for the code on the internet, I found one and it is loading now. Yeahhhhhhhh!!!!!!

Went swimming today with Greg and our neice and nephew and pushed them around the pool.

I am very tired now something about swimming really takes it out of me anyhoo talk later...

Well we just went to see Harry Potter 6 today, I am gonna be honest (I do feel this way about all the movies) but it wasn't as good as the book. But if I had only ever watched the movies I would say they are pretty good. I totally understand that they can't put everything in the book into a movie, but it drives me nuts when they don't put important stuff from the book, but they make time to put something into the movie that wasn't in the book, which sort of changes the feel of the movie all together. But I enjoyed it and just about killed myself holding my bladder at about the part where Harry brings Dumbledore the lost memory, I think that I broke the bathroom time record. I didn't want to miss a thing. I liked this part but I am so confused as to why they decided to have the Weasley's house burn down. Anyways I don't want to give away anything else, and ruin it for everybody else.

Talk later....

Well, more good news, the hubs has four jobs, he is the program manager for the local soccer club, he is a weekend referee, he is either an assistant varsity soccer coach/ or head coach of the junior varsity soccer team for a local highschool, and he just was recently approved to be a substitute teacher for the district 8th grade and down. I sooo proud of him, he has worked really hard.

Meanwhile lucky lucy over here has been to the employment office a million times and still nothing, I am just not finding what I am meant to do apparently. Although my brother-in-law had to go to Colorado for military reasons, and since my mother-in-law works fulltime as does her husband, and now that my hubs is working, I will be getting paid a little to help out with my niece and nephew.

I have however made no progress on anything craft, not even knitting, I feel like such a poser, I take my knitting everywhere with me, but I never can find the time to even work a couple of stitches. I am pathetic. Oh well it'll come sooner or later.

Been reading a little of Nora Roberts, books. I read Angel's Fall, I read Birthright, and I am currently reading Bloodbrothers, one of her sign of seven trilogy. I always thought that her books would be like mushy romance novels, all about sex and back stabbing, and more sex with your cousins, brother or some crap. But these are just the right mix of everything, interesting. A little bit of Romance, Mystery, Murder, Thriller, Comedy, and a lot of everything else.

Well I am gonna go talk to you later.,....

Happy Fourth

Well it is a couple of days since I wrote last, but I am hoping that I will eventually be able to get back into the habit of writing regularly. It has been hard adjusting to taking care of kids that aren't your own, but you live with them constantly.

Well Greg has finally found a great job working for a local soccer club and he will be a coach's coordinator, as well as a referee's coordinator, and he will help with a little bit of fundraising, and he might ref on the weekends.

As for me I am looking I have to make another trip down to the employment office. I hope I won't have to go there to many more times, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I am so used to working from home, it is a bit of an adjustment for me, I am willing to do any old crappy job there is out there just so that Greg and I can look at getting our own home.

We put our 18' x 4' pool up in the backyard not to long ago, it has been nice being able to go relax out there when it is super hot.

Greg and I have been doing the P90x work out videos by Tony Horton, pretty hard but I feel a lot better and I have only been doing them for 5 days now.

Anyways I will talk to you later, and see if I can actually get some work done on knitting. HOpefully I can show you some progress on something.
